ANALYSIS
By Martin Fletcher, NBC News
Spot the joke.
Ever since he became Israel's prime minister and immediately became embroiled in a seemingly never-ending series of crises, skeptics have argued that Benjamin Netanyahu is brilliant at only one thing - surviving.
Analysts have run out of metaphors to describe his survival skills. But he will need all of them now that his foreign minister resigned, leaving Netanyahu's government with the slimmest majority in parliament, 61-59.
But few doubt his government will, somehow or other, live on. The bigger question now is - will the peace process survive?
Here’s the punch line: I wrote that January 1, 1999.
Actually, maybe it's not so funny after all.
The only update is that today's foreign minister hasn't yet resigned, but is threatening to do so, if Netanyahu makes any significant progress toward handing parts of the West Bank back to the Palestinians.
There isn't much danger of that, though.
The stuff of fantasy
It's unfortunate for President Barack Obama, who has said he wants a peace agreement wrapped up within a year, even though the process of implementation could take up to 10 years. Apart from Washington's expectations, you only have to listen to the rumblings in Jerusalem and Ramallah, the Palestinian National Authority’s administrative capital, to understand that rapid progress is the stuff of fantasy.
Shimon Schiffer is generally recognized as one of the best political commentators in Israel. Here's his assessment in Tuesday's Yedioth Ahronoth, the most widely circulated paper in Israel:
"The prevalent assessment among officials who have been monitoring the efforts to restart the direct negotiations is that nothing will follow the photo-ops the three men will have in the three-day summit. In other words, this is a content-less initiative that is not going to move things forward by even a single meter."
One obstacle: Netanyahu told his people that any peace agreement would have to be based on Palestinian recognition of Israel as a Jewish nation. President Mahmoud Abbas has an equally intransigent demand: he will never recognize a Jewish state.
All the issues dividing Israelis and the Palestinians have remained the same for decades: the future of Jerusalem, the status of Palestinian refugees, Israel's final borders, a security agreement.
Analysts generally accept that, one day, the final arrangement will be: Jerusalem will be divided between Jews and Arabs with the holy areas under some kind of international supervision; Palestinian refugees will be absorbed in the future Palestinian state with a token few thousand coming into Israel based on family reunification; the final borders will be along the lines of June 4, 1967, with a land swap to take into account Israel's settlement blocks on a meter-for-meter basis; security for both states will be guaranteed within a wider peace agreement that would follow an Israeli-Palestinian breakthrough.
But, small question: when's the breakthrough?
Is it within a year, as Obama is demanding, or perhaps desperately hoping? Israelis and Palestinians know that when an American president needs a foreign policy victory, Mideast peace will top their agenda. So they need to play along, keep their heads down, and blame the other side for any eventual failure.
Looming Iran
Each failed peace process brings Armageddon one step closer. Past major failures have swiftly been followed by violence. This time though a Palestinian uprising following a failed peace process appears unlikely; according to all Palestinian and Israeli sources. Palestinians just seem not to have the heart for another fight.
However, maybe Iran and its allies in the region do. The balance of terror is slowly shifting as reports multiply that Hezbollah in South Lebanon has 45,000 rockets with a vast long-range capability, putting Tel Aviv into its sights. Hamas in Gaza is also said to have advanced rockets that can hit Tel Aviv.
Then there’s Iran's ongoing nuclear program.
This makes a peace agreement, or at least some kind of peace process that offers hope rather than catastrophe, all the more urgent.
There are positive signs on the ground. Apart from a few of tragic killings -- on Tuesday, the Israeli military reported that a Palestinian gunman shot dead 4 Jewish settlers -- there's been little Palestinian-Israeli violence in the West Bank for 18 months. Economic growth is whizzing along at 8 percent, jobs are growing and foreign investment is arriving. The West Bank is one of the world's few economic success stories these days. Strangely enough, so is Israel.
But while there is a real improvement on the ground in relations between Israel and the West Bank, is the time right for a rapid push for peace? After all, close to 1.5 million Palestinians live in Gaza under the control of Hamas, which rejects all moves toward peace with Israel.
Skeptics scoff, but at least Obama is offering a way forward, extending a branch for peace.
But judging by everything one hears in Jerusalem and Ramallah, politicians on both sides are still not yet ready to climb down from their tall, tall trees.
Martin Fletcher has covered the Israel-Palestinian conflict for over 30 years

As long as Nutenyahoo is in charge, there will never be a peace setlement. On the Palestinian side, they either have to recognize Israel as a state or look forward to an endless war.
As with most of the problems in the Mid East, besides the ones they eternally have with each other, the west sticking its nose in there, like when Greart Britan decided they could draw the borders and the Americans put troops in Saudi Arabia and had the CIA install the Shah in IRan, is the reason they hate us and not for our freedom.
We have 700 military bases all over the world. Time to bring everyone home so we can survive the theft of our equities by the Banksters and deal with the Multi-national corporations that have taken over our government.
Why don't you get yourself a speller so that People would know what you are saying???
Lmk you might want to look at your own post.
Pippo
Please tell that to the people who depend on us for their security. Oh you are a man of peace and believe that all men are good. Do you think the Chinese will stop sending arms to Sudan? Do you think the Russians will stop aiding Iran? Do you think the Chinese will stop arming Syria?
What I think is that the endless war posture we have adopted is fruitless. It does not make anyone safer.
We have enough Aircraft carriers with more punch than all the wars ever fought put together. We have Submarines that fit that description as well. No nation or group is going to attack us directly though some will finance terror groups.
All the nations of the world know if they make war with us so we know who they are, we are capable of exterminating them.
The fact is maintaining an endless war is good for business and that is where the trouble lies. There is no doubt in my mind that the cold war was an unspoken conspiracy between us and the Soviets so that the military industrial complexes could rip us all off.
The fear mongers continue with their BS as an everlating continuation of that scenario.
There is no better way to learn the truth about nearly everything than to follow the money. The money always flows towards the source of the trouble.
Mr. Schillaci, I agree with your assessment 100% but do you get that it is making a few people a WHOLE Lotta money. I figured that out after going to Iraq and almost giving my life over there. It is really big business.
Baed on his last Twitter, I'd love to hear what actor John cusack would think of this, considering...
Actor John Cusack went on a caustic Twitter rampage Sunday evening, attacking former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Fox News.
“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,” Cusack tweeted.
Cusack has long been outspoken about politics. He supported Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election and has contributed to The Huffington Post, but this is the first known time he has stooped to the level of making threats.
He has more than 200,000 Twitter followers
And this has what to do with the article? If that is how Cusack expresses his politics, let him stay in Hollywood with the rest of the leftist radical Oscar Academy self voting know nothings.
I'm for a satanic death cult community center as well. Can we have one in every major city? I mean I should have that freedom. How about in the old thomas road baptist building in lynchburg Virginia for the headquarters? that would be very fitting since thats the pulpit from which Jerry falwell worked to make sure the city is a church nut Mecca.
I'm so tired of reading this story for the last 60 years.
It is beginning to seem awfully inconsiderate of the Isrealis and Palistanians to hold the region and the world hostage with their continued conflict. Which neither side seems perticularly motivated to solve.
Both sides need to do what it takes so each can have their own state. Just do it.
Of course since they won't, eventially there will be more killing, unfortunatly it's the average everyday people that pay the highest price.
Too bad the killing can't be limited to the politians that prolong the conflict and refuse to come up with a workable solution.
It's wrong to blame Israel for this conflict.
I'm no big supporter of Israel but it seems clear to me that the Palestinians are bringing the fight. Does anyone think that Israel cannot live in peace with a peaceful neighbor?
"It's wrong to blame Israel for this conflict" < all they did was steal the land, no problem right?
Israel has tried over and over again to make PEACE with the Palestine!!! The the Muslin keep on attacking them... How much longer does the World expect them to put up with it??? Before they put a end to it completely one way are another!!!
You must be kidding... making peace by stealing land, keeping millions under military rule, killing and imprisoning indiscriminately? The Israelis are interested in Peace only as a tool they can leverage to get everything they want before drawing their 'final status' line. If they really wanted peace with the Palestinians, they'd abandon their illegal settlements and draw the border at the Green Line.
But that isn't the case, of course, and 600,000 Israeli settlers now live illegally in the West Bank, with the settlements expanding daily. Psssh, the Israelis want peace... please. They want to displace the Palestinians and steal their land.
Clinton is by far the most committed anti-American Sec of State we have ever had. Her communist beliefs roots are showing.
You are the Biggest Idiot on here!!! Hillary is doing everything She can to make PEACE in that part of the World... Your just to stupid to realize it!!!
And your ignorance is showing.
No surprises. More warmongering zionist propaganda from America's major news sources.
There is blood on your hands NBC !
LOL Yeah, warmongering America! If America was such a warmonger, it would of invaded any country it wanted to at the end of World War 2 when we were the only country that had the ultimate weapon for 4 years.
The simple fact is that America is the only country that has proven it is completely non-aggressive unless it has to defend a country's sovereignty.
You're a complete idiot. You should try studying history.
There wouldn't be blood on Their hands if the Hamas wouldn't be shooting Rockets into Israel all the time!!!
Hamas wouldn't be shooting rockets 'all the time' if it didn't represent 1.5 million people besieged and tortured by the Israeli hermetic closure of tiny Gaza. Israel digs its own hole deeper every day, which is so unfortunate because peace really isn't that far off.. It would just require Israel cease to steal land daily from the Palestinians, draw final staus lines, and for once, keep their army within their own borders by ending their forty year old occupation.
The last thing Israel wants is Peace. They are able to expand their country's borders illegally under the auspices of 'combating Muslim extremism'. Thin facade, all right.
Go back to your cave.
Fred, thanks for the good laughs... entirely at your expense, of course!
John, your statements are absolutely correct. Fred's insane rant and attack of you is completely unacceptable and the moderator should strike those ridiculous comments and delusional statements. I for one am I tired of the U.S. taxpayer sending $13 Billion a year to militaristic and aggresor nation like Israel. As for calling the Palestinians gutter rats, if I recall correctly, Nazis drew correlations between Jews and rats. Do we see the similarity here?? The abused Jews of Europe have become the abuser. Too bad they don't see it. I just don't want my taxpayer dollars going over there anymore.
Bill Clinton made the mistake of pumping up expectations prior to his peace talks just before he left office. These raised expectations, followed by the failure of the negotiations were directly responsible for the Intifada that followed. President Obama should remember this lesson, and strive to lower expectations and set realistic goals and expectations for the talks. Better to achieve a humbled objective and succeed in small steps than set overly lofty goals and fail.
The Democrats are the ones that try to solve the problems!!! The Republicans are the problem...
Imk02 -- I hope Barrack Obama can indeed solve the Palestinian problem, but the problem remains that the US interventions there have inflamed tensions more often than they have reduced tensions. If we cause another Intifada then we are doing neither Israel nor Palestine a favor. Barrack must tread softly and find ways to publicly reduce expectations while he carries on his best efforts. We should not repeat Clinton's mistake of grandstanding and then making the problem worse. You cannot blame the Intifada on George Bush -- that one was clearly Bill Clinton's fault.
The problem that remains as Pat Buchanan put it and I quote, "The U.S. Congress is Israeli occupied territory!". That is the fact. AIPAC has every politician in Washington scared of its power. A PAC(Political Lobbying Group) that should register as a foreign agency since it represents another country and is not interested in what is best for the United States of America and Americans at large.
It is by definition a farce. Israel plans on ultimately developing the entire West Bank + Jerusalem... everything else is merely a stalling tactic.
If Israel developed the rest of the West Bank the way they have other parts of Israel, the West Bank would be booming. Ride through the Negev and see how they turned sand into farms. They are the country with the second most stocks on the Nasdaq other than USA. More nobels per capita, created some of the best technology, medical breakthroughs etc.
Israel has the right to do anything They want on Their own land!!! It is Theirs until They give what ever they want to the Palestine and Hamas... If They don't watch out They will get nothing!!! Because their will be nothing left of Them...
Lar, that doesn't mean a thing, because the land isn't theirs. Whether or not the Israelis would have developed it differently is totally irrelevent. The Palestinians should be free to develop their land in any way they see fit, not to please your Western ideals. To many, myself included, the 'blooming Negev' you refer to is an ugly modernized wasteland, with every essence of its culture stolen. At least the pastoral methods of the Palestinians wouldn't have diverted two feet of water away from the Dead Sea every single year for the last thirty, as Israel has done with its dams and water rerouting schemes. Development is in the eye of the beholder.
Amazing that bigots are still shamelessly making the same argument they have for centuries: "Our superiority gives us the right to treat you anyway we see fit".
Zionists make the same argument the Japanese made when the Japanese invaded Manchuria. The Chinese were viewed as uncivilized and barely above monkeys and the superior Japanese would develop Manchuria.
Abbas needs to recognize Israel. Israel needs to swap good land for the settlements. Jerusalem needs to be an Israeli city, remember Jerusalem under Arab control pre 67? The negotiations have to exclude Hamas. The people of Gaza have to get rid of Iranian backed Hamas. Lebanon needs to kick Hezbollah out of Lebanon. The Iranian people need to overthrow the nut job clerics and Ahmadinijad. Unless all this happens, we go nowhere.
They need to get Hamas into the talks... That is what They have to do!!!
Four Jews Murdered in Arab Terror Attack
Elul 21, 5770, 31 August 10 08:12
by Gil Ronen
(Israelnationalnews.com) Terrorists murdered four Jewish civilians in a shooting attack at the Bani Naim junction just south of Hevron Tuesday evening.
According to initial reports, the victims are members of one family, and one of them is a pregnant woman. [map:45]
The terror attack is typical of Arab nationalist attacks that intentionally target civilian victims.
The attack was probably timed to coincide with the direct talks between Israel and the PA in Washington, DC, that are to begin Thursday.
As long as the arabs keep acting like this why should Israel do anything.
As long as Israel keeps the Palestinians in ghetto enclaves of the occupied territories they will resist. Officially, hundreds non-combatant of Palestinian men, women, children were killed when super sonic jet fighter bombers armed with laser guided precision bombs to blow up hospitals, schools, homes, food warehouses, aid facilties with the people inside them by Israelis who knew exactly what they were doing. Richard Goldstone and Norman Finkelstein both Jewish and Zionist called it a crime against humanity by the Israeli government. We are not even talking about the permanently maimed, the thousands of Arab Christian and Muslims in Israeli jails, or the ten of thousands displaced from the their bulldozed or bombed homes. I guess when Israel does the right thing like leave the occupied territories and let Palestinians live then maybe they will stop resisting.
No Israeli administration since 1967 has ever seriously slowed down the illegal creation of "facts on the ground" designed to change the geography of Palestine to the advantage of Jewish Israelis, and I use the term advisedly, since no non-Jewish Israeli is eligible for housing in any of the settlements.
Netanyahu is continuing that trend with an additional touch of Chuzpah toward America.
Maybe not poking America's eye with a stick, but certainly ostentatiously spitting in its face.
The IDF routinely kills innocent Palestinian civilians, some comes up in the media, but most don't, due to AIPAC influence over most of our TV networks. Israel is a rogue state that most countries acknowledge but hopeless to act for two reasons; 1et: will be accused of being anti Semitic. 2nd: We always veto any UN resolution against her!
Flatwood is 100% correct. AIPAC subverts our nation and shapes foreign policy 100% to Israel's way regardless of whethe it is good for America or Americans or not. The vast majority of Americans would not send the money to Israel or support the illegal policies carried out by Israel. Quote from Pat Buchanan: "The U.S. Congress is Israeli occupied territory." AIPAC should register as a foreign agent lobbying group since it represents another country.
Really haven't been a fan of the post -1967 settlements - ever.
Unfortunately, Israel has its share of Right Wingnuts" like the USA. The really good news, unlike here, they don't get to load up on guns.
The country has a math problem - with a historically high birthrate among Arab Israeli citizens (A future of being out voted).
If you drill down into and read the Israeli constitution it accounts for this, no matter the demographics, it is very clear. Of Jew, By Jew, For Jew. It isn't really a democracy.
It is too bad the Ottoman Empire was on the wrong side of history. With an empire, there is less of a likelihood of "me-first", playground mischief. Can you imagine what the U.S. would be like if each state was a country?
The majority of people in this world need to be kept in line--that is why we have laws--humans are prone to bad behaviors, whether locally or internationally. People want the right of self-determination, but, all too often, they do not have the ability to behave properly. Nationalistic tendencies create all types of havoc. Politics is the womb in which war develops, as Von Clausewitz pointedly noted.
The solution to this problem is not in politics, but in law. The Arab-Israeli Conflict should be settled based on International Law. If both sides were serious (and they are not), they would both submit to a binding International Arbitration, and let a neutral panel of nine international judges make the final decision as to who gets what. The final decision would be enforced by an international force made up from every country that is a member of the U.N., or perhaps from the Permanent Members of the Security Council, or some other manner that some erudite individual can come with. The solution has to be handed down to them both like litigants who cannot resolve a case because each is unwilling to bend. Sometimes the hand of justice has to mandate to the parties what the final solution is.
The Palestinian people made a rookie error electing Hamas as their government, and Israel is wrong to continue building settlements, removing Palestinian residents from their homes. Most of the people on both sides are decent people who just want to have a peaceful existence, but are caught in the maw of two intransigent players who are too caught up in their own histories to move ahead and do what is right for the common good of all.
Footnote: The prevailing wisdom is that Bibi is not going to do anything while his father is alive.
You know Fred, the international court was good enough when it rendered judgement against Nazis and ordered the vast majority to be executed for violating international law, crimes against humanity but when it comes to Israelis following the law they feel they are the only group exempted. What a joke your rants are. Read the Richard Goldstone report. Crazy right wing Zionists are just that, CRAZY. They will kill their own leader, Yitzhak Rabin, for trying to make peace. And will discredit more moderate and sensible Zionist like Goldstone. What goes around comes around is what these nuts need to realize.
20 facts which dramatically illustrate how history has been totally distorted for political and propaganda purposes in the present Middle East crisis. Unfortunately, for the most part, the world’s news media lets this information pass them by without critical analysis or incorporating it into their own editorial thrust, which often goes against Israel.
1. Nationhood and Jerusalem. Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C, 2,000 years before the rise of Islam.
2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 B.C., the Jews have had dominion over the land for 1,000 years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
4. The only Arab dominion since the Muslim conquest in 635 A.D. lasted no more than 22 years.
5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.
6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Qur'an (Koran).
7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem.
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.
9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: In 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews. Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.
10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms.
11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be about the same.
12. Arab refugees were INTENTIONALLY not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, the Arabs are the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples' lands. Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey.
13. The Arab - Israeli Conflict: The Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended herself each time and won.
14. The PLO's Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them with weapons. [See Fatah Charter/Constitution.]
15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.
16. The United Nations (U.N.) Record on Israel and the Arabs: Of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel.
17. Of the 690 U.N. General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed against Israel.
18. The U.N. was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians.
19. The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.
20. The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like policy of preventing Jews from visiting their holy sites at the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.
In 1920, after WW1, the population of Palestine consisted of only 10% Jews, 12% Christians and 78% Muslims. There was no Israel. Now, you figure it out.
Amen may God bless you and be with you Flat.
Someone should tell the Neanderthal FredFlinstone xxx that Arabs are also Semitic. If you are an anti-Semite, then you are anti-Arab, too.
Fred you are exactly Fred Flinstone, living in the stone ages away from civilization.
"All we are saying, is give PEACE a chance" John Lennon
"All we are saying, is give (or we'll take) us your land" Benjamin Netanyahoo
Expectations are about as low as they can get.
Challenges Facing US-Brokered Middle East Peace Talks
Barack Obama faces a formidable challenge, with the failure of past talks looming over the latest effort under way. Many issues remain unresolved since the creation of Israel in 1948, as the Palestinian and Israeli sides meet in Washington this week. http://www.newslook.com/videos/246342-challenges-facing-us-brokered-middle-east-peace-talks?autoplay=true
Fred, thanks for the good laughs.... entirely at your expense, of course.
Seriously!
Enough!
It is unfortunate that there are people that think like FlosntoneXXX & Mark Wroblowski who misinterpret history!
Four points to be made in correction to the stated notes above:
1- Th eeuropeans were the ones the prodsicuted the Jews, and it was with the Muslims in Africa & pPalastine that the jews found refuge! Now the Isrealies prosicute the palastinians as if they ever caused them harm! That is a terrible shame!
2- As Kendedy once said: You can not build your fotune on the misfortune of others. Somebody aught totell the likes of flinstone that Isrealies should be discraced with the likes of their leaders that continue the inhumane practices of the palastinians!
2- Any body that disagrees with the likes of Flinstne or the ongoing Isreali government practices is considered an anti sematic! I know of good jews that were classified as such just becauise they disagreed with the Isreali gov practices!
4- Isreali supporters, Far Right conservative christians, Jewish loibbies, will try to make the world believe that Al Qaida and the likes just hate Americans because of their love for freedom, hiding the real rout for that hate is the American support to the inhumane practices of the Isrealis to the palastinians & that the American forign policy had been hijacked by the jewish lobby!
In response to mark wroblewski'S distorted facts above/ Corrections are in CAPITAL HEREUNDER:
1. Nationhood and Jerusalem. Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C, 2,000 years before the rise of Islam. ISREAL WAS NEVER A NATION! iSREALITES WERE A TRIBE OF NOMADS WHO TRAVELED ACCROSS CONTINENTS THROUGH THIS MODERN WORLD. AS THEY WISH TO CLAIM PALASTINE AS THE LAND WITHOUT THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE WITHOUT THE LAND. THE PHILISTINES & THE CANNONITES WERE THERE SINCE THE DAWN OF HISTORY, BEFORE RELIGIONS EVEN EXISTED & AT THE TIME OF BABYLON. THE PHILISTINES ARE DOCUMENTED IN THE TORAH AS WELL AS THE BIBLE & THE QURAN.
2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel. THOSE PALATSTINIAN REFUGEES REFERRED TO HERE WERE ACTUALLY TERRORISED OUT OF THEIR HOMES INTO OTHER PART OF PALASTINE SUCH AS GAZA, CONSIDERED TO BE THE LARGES REFUGEE CAMP IN THE WORLD & THE LARGEST PRISON WITH OVER 1.6 MILION PEOPLE RISTRICTED FROM THEIR HUMANE RIGHTS!
3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 B.C., the Jews have had dominion over the land for 1,000 years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years. BULL'S S.!
4. The only Arab dominion since the Muslim conquest in 635 A.D. lasted no more than 22 years. SUCH A LAUGH!
5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit. GO FRESH'S UP ON YOUR HISTORY! YOUR NEW MODERN ISREAL CLAIM ON JERUSALIM DOES NOT CARRY ANY WATER!
6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Qur'an (Koran). FRESH UP AGAIN YOU UN-EDUCATED STOOGE! JERUSALIM IN MOST SACRED IN THE QORAN & MENTIONED SEVERAL TIMES!
7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. AGAIN!.. YOU ARE A WASTE OF TIME, BUT SURE IS WORTH SHOWING HOW SMART YOU ARE!
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem. AGAIN YOU SMART ONE!.. iT WOULD ALL DEPEND IF JERUSALIM SITS IN THE WAY OF MEKKAH FROM THE DIRECTION THAT THE PRAYER IS FACING! dON'T IT?
9. Arab and Jewish Refugees: In 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews. Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier. WHAT BOLLONI YOU HAVE BEEN FEEDING? THESE PALASTINIAN REFUGEES WERE TERRORISED, MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN (DAIR YASEEN MASACAR RINGS ANY BELLS????)
10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms. DURING WORLD WAR II, AS JEWS WERE RUNNING AWAY FROM PROSICUTION IN EUROPE THEY FOUND MOST REFUGE WITH MUSLIMS IN AFRICA & IN PALASTINE, BUT THEY STABED THEIR HOSTS IN THE BACK AS HISTORY HAD ALWAYS SHOWN HOW A MINORITY OF THEIR SECT GIVES THE JEWS THE BAD WRAP THAT THEY CONSTANTLY WISH TO ESCAPE! tHERE REMAIN TO BE A LARGE jEWISH COMMUNITIES IN iRAQ, SYRIA, JORDAN AND THEY HAVE BEEN LIVING IN PEACE WITH THEIR ARAB NEIGHBOURS FOR GENERATIONS!
11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be about the same. iSREAL IMPORTED THEIR REFUGESS IN THE PLANE LOADS FROM rUSSIA, USA, POLAND, ETC.

Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey. aGAIN, HERE YOU WISH TO DISTORT THE FACTS! iSREAL INVITED THOSE (WHAT YOU CALL JEWISH REFUGEES IN THE PLANE LOADS, GIVING THEM LAND THAT THEY STOLE FROM THE PALASTINIANS, GAVE THEM MONEY, FREE SCHOOL & EDUCATION, BUT MOSTLY GAVE THEM ARMS AND PUT THEM IN THE FOREFRONT INNTO COLONIES THAT THEY CAN EXPAND THEIR CONQUESTS ON THE MISFORTUNE OF THE PALASTINIANS! oN THE OTHER HAND THE WAY THE ARABIC COUNTRIES SEE IT, IS THAT IF THEY GIVE CITIZENSHIP TO THOSE REFUGEES LIVING IN TENTS FOR THE LAST DECADES, THEN THEY WILL SUPPORT THE DESOLVANCE AND THEIR CRY FOR A JUST SOLUTION!
13. The Arab - Israeli Conflict: The Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended herself each time and won. WITH THE SUPPORT OF UNCLE SAM OF COURSE! HISB ALLAH SURE SHOWED THE FANATIC EXTREME ISREALISE JEWS FOR WHAT THEY ARE! COWARDS AT BEST! EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY MY FRIEND, AND WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!
14. The PLO's Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them with weapons. [See Fatah Charter/Constitution.]. B.S. FATAH IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS WHO ARE SKIMING LOADS ALONG WITH OTHER CONSPIROTERS TO SELL THE PALASTINIANS OUT CHEAP! THE ONLY JUST SOLUTION THAT CAN HAPPEN CAN COME FROM ONE & ONE PERSON ONLY "pRESIDENT BARAK OBAMA: IF THE JEWISH LOBBY DOES NOT SABOTAGE ANY GOOD INTENTION THIS PORESIDENT CAN ACHIEVE. IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN ON HIS WATCH ... HEN IT MAY NEVER HAPPEN!
15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths. BOLONY! Bottom line it's not as complicated as people may think. as long as the Israeli Zionist movement keeps trying to get rid and contain Palestinians in ghettos, the more Palestinians are going to resist. There is a difference between criminals in Palestine and people that are trying to make a difference. However, there is no difference between the Zionist movement and war crimes they are commiting.
